About Tony Hills
The person behind the performance.
I know what it feels like to have the role disappear before you have decided who you are without it.
This is the story underneath Tycoon Academy. It starts in Alief and continues through the University of Texas, the Steelers, the Cowboys, and the Saints.

I grew up in Alief, Texas. My mother worked hard, and football looked like a way out — a structure, a scholarship, a chance to do something that could change the conditions around us.
I wore #79 at the University of Texas. Then I played for the Steelers, the Cowboys, and the Saints. The work was physical and clear. There was a position, a schedule, a film room, and a scoreboard that told you what happened.
Then a staffer tapped me on the shoulder. The conversation was short. I walked out carrying my cleats in a plastic bag and sat in an empty parking lot with my head on the steering wheel. I had trained for the game. I had not trained for the silence after it.
That moment forced a question I could not avoid: if the team, the contract, and the title can be taken away, what is left? The answer is not to pretend the athlete never mattered. The answer is to stop anchoring your whole identity in anything that can be taken away.
My faith has been part of that answer. I follow my Lord and Savior, Yeshua, and remain rooted in my Israelite community. It keeps the work honest: I am responsible for the work in front of me, but I am not the source of every outcome.
Tycoon Academy exists for the athlete who wants a clear read on what to carry forward, what to leave behind, and what to build next.
